Prepare application documents without the guesswork
Application forms often specify a file format, pixel dimensions, and a size range. These are separate requirements: a photo can have the correct width and height but still exceed the upload limit. This document kit lets you enter those requirements, prepare a copy, and see which checks pass. The starting values are examples, not requirements for a particular exam, employer, or government portal. Always read the instructions on the form you are completing.
For a photo or signature, choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image and enter the required output dimensions. Fit whole image preserves the complete picture and adds white padding where needed. Center crop fills the frame but removes edges, so inspect the result carefully before using it for a signature or portrait. JPG quality is reduced progressively when necessary. PNG may remain too large because its compression works differently. We do not inflate small files with artificial padding to satisfy a minimum size.
For a certificate PDF, enter the maximum size and review the flattening warning. If the original already fits, it is retained without changing its contents. Otherwise, compression tries progressively lower image resolutions and quality levels, keeping the smallest candidate if the target cannot be reached. Flattened pages lose selectable text, interactive forms, links, and digital signatures. Small text and stamps may become less clear. Compare every page in the previews, then inspect the downloaded document at full size. Never replace your only original with a compressed copy.
Images to PDF creates one A4 page per image, preserving its proportions on a white background. Merge PDFs combines pages in the displayed file order. Move files up or down before preparing the result. These two operations check your requested size range but do not automatically compress the resulting PDF; use Compress PDF separately if needed. Merging may not retain document-level bookmarks, interactive forms, or signatures.

The final checklist checks format, file size, and image dimensions where relevant. It does not check identity, background rules, signature authenticity, or a portal’s other restrictions. A passing checklist means only that the file meets the requirements you entered; it is not a guarantee that a website will accept it.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my file miss the size target?
Some documents contain too much detail to fit a very small limit without becoming unreadable. Try a smaller image, split a long PDF if allowed, or ask the receiving organization for guidance.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Application document preparation happens locally in your browser. Word to PDF, a separate tool, uses the conversion server.
Can I process several files?
Images to PDF and PDF merging accept up to 20 files, 20 MB each and 50 MB total. Merging supports 100 pages. PDF compression supports one document of up to 20 pages.
Will compression preserve a digital signature?
No. Do not flatten a document whose digital signature must remain valid. Keep the original signed file.
