Combine several PDFs in the order you need
When an application accepts only one attachment, merging can combine a cover letter, certificate and other PDF documents into a single file. This tool copies their pages into one PDF in the order you choose. It works in your browser without sending the source files to a conversion server. Select up to 20 PDFs, with at most 20 MB per file, 50 MB total input and 100 pages across the selection.
Add your files and check their order in the list. Use the up and down buttons to move each document before selecting Prepare & check. All pages of the first file appear first, followed by all pages of the second, and so on. This tool reorders whole documents, not individual pages inside each PDF. Remove any unwanted file from the list before producing the combined copy.
The size fields check the output against your receiving form’s limits. They do not make merging a compression operation. If there is no maximum upload limit, choose a maximum large enough for your documents. If the merged result exceeds the limit, it remains available as a candidate download with the failed check clearly displayed. You can use the separate PDF compressor afterward if flattening is acceptable for your documents.
Review the merged preview using the page controls, then open the download to check every page and its order. Page sizes can differ when the originals use different formats. Document-level bookmarks, interactive forms and digital signatures may not carry over, so do not assume the merged PDF preserves them. Keep the original files, particularly signed documents. A successful size check confirms the range you entered, not that an external portal will accept the contents.
