Word to PDF first. PDF pages to images when you need them.
Word documents are useful while you are writing and editing. PDFs are often easier to share when the recipient should see a fixed page layout. Choose Word → PDF, add one or more DOCX or DOC files, and click Convert. Each document becomes a separate PDF with its own download button. The service processes files one at a time, so a larger batch can take longer than a single document.
Word conversion uses LibreOffice on our server. Selecting a file does not upload it: conversion starts only when you click the Convert button. Temporary source documents and generated PDFs are removed after processing. The Privacy Policy explains cleanup after interrupted requests. You can submit up to 20 documents totaling 50 MB, with a maximum of 20 MB per Word file. Password-protected documents, damaged files, and macro-enabled DOCX packages are not supported.
Check the downloaded PDF before distributing it. Fonts that are not available on the server may be substituted, which can move text or change line breaks. Complex tables, floating images, headers, footers, and embedded objects may render differently from Microsoft Word. Keep your original document, especially when it contains editable forms or important formatting. The converter preserves the layout as interpreted by LibreOffice; it cannot promise an identical result for every Word feature.
The second tab, PDF → Image, works entirely in your browser. Drop in PDFs and convert all their pages into individual PNG images without uploading them. Each output filename includes a page number. This is useful for previews, presentations, or sharing a page as a picture. A picture does not retain selectable text, clickable links, or interactive form fields. The batch limit is 100 pages. Large pages are scaled to keep memory use reasonable; rendering does not restore details missing from a low-quality scan.

Are all files processed locally?
PDF → Image is local. Word → PDF uploads the selected document to our server only after you click Convert.
Do you support older Word files?
Yes, DOC and DOCX are accepted. Locked or damaged documents may fail, and complex formatting can differ.
Why is Word conversion unavailable?
The hosting server must have the conversion service and LibreOffice running. PDF → Image remains available independently.
Does PDF → Image recognize text?
No. It renders the visible page into a PNG; it does not perform OCR.
